WHAT IS LIFE4?
It’s not a direct competition with anyone else, but a way for you to challenge yourself and strengthen your all-around skillset.
If you’ve ever wanted to get better at the game and feel stuck or aimless, LIFE4 aims to provide players a roadmap toward comprehensive improvement, and also serve as a community space for players to share in that journey together. We’ve also got some pretty sick merch for players that make their way up the ranks!
Anyone can enter the LIFE4 Ranking System, and it’s free! Choose the section below that aligns most with your situation to get started:
I’m new to DDR: Try out either the Copper or Bronze Placement set to get an idea of your current comfort level with the game. If you’ve played other rhythm games, you may recognize a song or two! Or if Copper and Bronze seem too easy, give Silver or Gold a try!
You’ll be given a placement rank after submitting your results, and from there you can begin following the requirements for your next rank up!
I’m an old school DDR player: Welcome back to the realm of stepping on arrows! The Silver and Gold placement sets are recommended for players returning from the DDR Extreme era. These sets have a nostalgic song selection that double as a measuring stick for your current ability.
You’ll be given a placement rank following your submission, and then you can fully take the plunge into learning modern DDR.
I’m a current DDR player: If you’re unsure of your skill level, you can give any of the Placement sets from Copper through Gold a try! Alternatively, if you have an eAmusement card set up with Basic Course, you may wish to sign up for Sanbai Icecream to access your score history and submit for a comprehensive placement instead. Comprehensive placements are recommended for players aiming to place in Platinum and above.
